Turfing and lawn installation
A new lawn is mostly groundwork
Laying turf is the quick part. Lawns that still look good years later are the ones where the ground underneath was stripped, broken up, fed and levelled first — so that's where we spend the time.
What we can do
Cultivated rolled turf
Hard-wearing rye blends, cut fresh and laid quickly after delivery so it roots well.
Shade-tolerant blends
For north-facing gardens and plots under mature trees where standard turf struggles.
Artificial grass
Drained sub-base, weed membrane and joined seams for a low-maintenance, pet-friendly surface.
Lawn renovation
Scarifying, aeration, top dressing and overseeding where a tired lawn can be rescued rather than replaced.
Our Process
- 01Strip the existing lawn and weeds and remove them from site
- 02Rotavate and break up compacted ground
- 03Import topsoil where levels need building up
- 04Rake, level and apply a pre-turf feed
- 05Lay turf in staggered rows, roll it in and water thoroughly
